Billy’s Cottage

Billy’s Cottage is a 17th century self-catering Farmhouse in the heart of rural county Cork, attached to a working dairy farm ideal for children and pets. Farm tours are free to our guests who are welcome to help at calf feeding time. Relax in this atmosphere of old world charm and modern convenience.

The south facing kitchen is equipped with dishwasher and microwave. The patio doors in the dining room open on to the large garden complete with barbecue and greenhouse. Guests are welcome to pick fruit and herbs when in season The great hearth in the sitting room is guaranteed to warm weary bones. For those who like to play pool, there is a games room. There is a downstairs bathroom; a utility room with washing machine, dryer and iron. Also provided is colour television, music centre and oil central heating.

The slanting ceilings upstairs lend to the ancient atmosphere of the house. The bedrooms include the White room and the Master room, both en suite. Turn of the century pine adorns the Pine room.
